One of 350 copies. Designed in the format of a boxing card, with photos of Harlow and Billy the Kid, and text in beast language. McClure posted his graphic poem all over San Francisco and hung one in his room. In time he began to hear the voices of Harlow and the Kid, and wrote down the dialogue that became The Beard.
